Jon Schaumloeffel

Jon Schaumloeffel has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jon started their career as a Systems Analyst at TechMD in 2015, where they provided on-site support and network troubleshooting for various clients. Jon also administered Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Webroot for over 100 clients. Jon was responsible for imaging workstations and servers, provisioning IT documentation, and managing client-wide antivirus rollouts.

In 2017, Jon joined Akins IT, Inc. as a Cloud Solutions Architect. Here, they designed and implemented cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and Office 365. Jon deployed security technologies and provided strategic consultation to IT directors and C-level executives for infrastructure and security improvements.

In 2019, Jon joined Trace3 as a Cloud Engineer and later became a Senior Cloud Engineer. Jon played a vital role in architecting and implementing security, governance, and compliance solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Jon also served as a trusted advisor and delivered customer-driven solutions to Fortune 500 companies as a Principal Cloud Solutions Architect. In 2023, Jon was promoted to the position of Director, Modern Workplace Security at Trace3.

Jon Schaumloeffel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Information Systems from Biola University. Jon has also obtained additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in November 2019 and the CIES01: Microsoft Security CIE Bootcamp from edX in 2018.
