Jonathan Townsend

Jonathan Townsend has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as the VP of Engineering- TOLA at Trace3, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Engineering at Set Solutions, Inc. from October 2019 to June 2023. Jonathan also worked as a Systems Engineer at Palo Alto Networks from November 2016 to October 2019. Before that, they held the role of Security Practice Lead at Fulcrum Technology Solutions, LLC from January 2014 to November 2016. Throughout their career, Jonathan has held various technical and consulting positions at companies such as SGV International, Wood Group Mustang, Chevron, Geological Data Library Inc., Northrop Grumman, and ISLE OF WIGHT CO PBLC SCHS SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Jonathan Townsend attended Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon in February 2019 and the GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) certification from GIAC Certifications in February 2015.
