Akhan Mukhanov has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Akhan began their career in 2009 as a Product Marketing Intern at Procter & Gamble. In 2010, they worked as a Marketing Strategy Intern at Total. From 2011 to 2018, they held multiple positions at Schlumberger Software, including Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Platform Product Manager. In 2019, Akhan joined Danaher as a Product Strategy Summer Associate, where they contributed to mapping out $1.8B worth of U.S. products. Akhan pursued their MBA at MIT Sloan from 2018 to 2020 as an MBA Candidate. Currently, they are working at TraceLink as a Leadership Development Manager and has recently taken on the role of Senior Product Manager – Cell and Gene Therapy.

Akhan Mukhanov completed their MBA in Data Science, Product Management, and Marketing Analytics from MIT Sloan School of Management between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Economics and Management from IFP School in 2010. Akhan'sundergraduate education includes a BSc in Engineering, which they achieved with summa cum laude honors from Kazakh-British Technical University in the period of 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Akhan Mukhanov has obtained several certifications. Akhan became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023. Akhan also completed a Machine Learning program at Stanford University in July 2018. In August 2016, they successfully finished two courses in Tech Entrepreneurship at Stanford University. Akhan obtained a certificate in Reservoir Geomechanics from Stanford University in April 2014. Akhan Mukhanov has further certifications in Modern Production Data Analysis from the Society of Petroleum Engineers in October 2013 and in the Team Foundation Server (TFS) Workshop from Microsoft in an unspecified year.
