Alasdair Johnson

Alasdair Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Alasdair began their career as a Software Engineer at Shering Weighing Ltd in 1986 and worked there until 1996. After that, they started their own company, Alasdair Y Johnson Ltd, where they served as the Owner and provided embedded and PC software development services to various clients until 1999.

In 1996, they also worked as a Contractor at Telecom Sciences.

From 2000 to 2010, Johnson worked at TransForm Pharmaceuticals/Johnson & Johnson as a Group Leader and Principal Developer.

In 2010, they joined Kiva Systems/Amazon Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they designed and prototyped a new subsystem for communication with warehouse robots and managed the robot map subsystem when Kiva transitioned to a 3D ad-hoc graph layout.

Since 2015, Johnson has been working at TraceLink, initially as a Senior Application Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer. The specific dates of their roles at TraceLink are not provided.
