Antonio Hidalgo Landa has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Antonio is currently the Chair of the Consultancy Specialist Group at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, where they have been actively involved since 2016. In this role, they advocate for professionalism in IT consultancy worldwide.

Prior to their current position, Antonio worked at TraceLink as a Technical Account Manager. Antonio was responsible for leading the implementation of serialization in the pharmaceutical industry and became a trusted advisor for digital transformation. Furthermore, Antonio has worked as a Consultant at Orion Health, where they acted as a technical bridge between clients and solution technology in healthcare implementations.

Antonio also has experience as a Senior Technical Consultant at Relayware, where they focused on gathering technical requirements, designing software solutions, overseeing development, and managing risk.

Additionally, Antonio worked as a Technical Manager at Secure Communication Systems Ltd, where they were responsible for designing solutions and managing development in C++ and Java.

Antonio's earlier experience includes working as a Researcher at Cranfield University / UK Defence Academy, where they focused on enhancing Service Oriented Architecture in disadvantaged networks.

Antonio Hidalgo Landa CITP MBCS holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational and Software Techniques in Engineering from Cranfield University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Murcia from 2003 to 2008, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and a degree in Computer Engineering (Arquitectura de Computadores) as an Ingeniero Superior en Informática.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Antonio has also obtained several certifications. Some notable certifications include "Generative AI: Implications and Opportunities for Business" from RMIT University in May 2023 and the "Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme" from the University of Oxford in August 2022. Antonio has also completed various online courses and trainings on topics such as building relationships while working from home, inclusive leadership, diversity and inclusion, and managing diverse teams. Antonio actively strives to enhance their knowledge and skills, demonstrated by their commitment to continuous learning through certifications and courses.
