Brandon Lioce

Brandon Lioce has gained extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Brandon is currently a Software Engineer III at TraceLink, where they started in August 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Engineer II from November 2021 to June 2023, and Software Engineer from August 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining TraceLink, Brandon worked at Staples. Brandon started as a Software Engineer I in June 2018 and was enrolled in the Software Engineer Rotational Program. During this program, they worked on the Shared Order Management Systems team and developed an Angular web application with a Spring Boot REST API backend. Brandon also implemented OAuth security using custom JWTs. In October 2019, Brandon transitioned to a permanent position on the team and continued to contribute until August 2020.

Additionally, Brandon had previous experience at Staples as a Software Developer I from October 2017 to January 2018. This was a temporary contract position where they worked on the main project from their previous summer internship. Brandon'sresponsibilities included developing a RESTful API using Node.js and Docker and ensuring proper processing of responses.

Brandon's career in software engineering began with an internship at Staples in June 2017. During this internship, they worked on securing internal REST APIs through various means such as OAuth and API Keys.

Before their career in software engineering, Brandon worked as a Starbucks Barista at Safeway from April 2013 to June 2017.

Overall, Brandon Lioce has held multiple software engineering positions and has gained valuable experience in developing web applications, implementing RESTful APIs, and ensuring API security.

Brandon Lioce completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Software Systems from the University of Washington Tacoma. Prior to that, they attended Bonney Lake High School from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their high school education. Later, Brandon pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science & Systems from the University of Washington Tacoma from 2017 to 2018.
