Gunasekhar Vinugolu

Gunasekhar Vinugolu began their work experience in 2015 as a Program Associate Trainee at Cognizant. They then transitioned to the role of Associate (Software Engineer) where they gained over 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, working on a JavaEE application called MSE for Cognizant's internal DoD application. In this role, they utilized various technologies such as Spring Boot, React JS, and Hibernate. Gunasekhar also performed the ETL process and developed functionalities for J2EE applications using Spring Boot and REACT JS.

In 2022, Gunasekhar joined HealthEdge as a Software Engineer Intern, where they created .Net automations, worked on Azure monitoring, and configured custom log alerts. They also performed code builds on Teamcity and utilized Agile methodologies such as JIRA and Kanban.

Gunasekhar then joined Northeastern University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they taught courses in SOFTWARE DESIGN PATTERNS using JAVA and CONCEPTS OF OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN using JAVA. These courses covered topics such as software design patterns, object-oriented principles in Java, data structures, multi-threaded programming, and more.

Currently, Gunasekhar is employed as a Software Development Engineer 2 at TraceLink, starting in 2023.

Gunasekhar Vinugolu earned their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Gunasekhar then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems at Northeastern University, from 2021 to 2023. In addition, Gunasekhar obtained a certification in Supply Chain Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2023.
