Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy has extensive experience in the field of quality assurance. Sean has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Sean'smost recent position is as Director of Quality Assurance at TraceLink, where they have been working since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager at TraceLink from May 2019 to September 2021. Sean also held the role of Quality Assurance Manager at the same company from November 2016 to September 2021.

Before joining TraceLink, Sean worked at G4S as a Quality Assurance Manager from February 2012 to November 2016. Sean then moved on to Tactician Corporation, where they held the same role from November 2010 to February 2012.

Sean'scareer began at Comverse in September 1997, where they worked as a QA Engineer. Sean was responsible for writing API tests for telephony applications and had the opportunity to perform on-site User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in Japan. Sean left Comverse in September 1999 to join Groove Networks as a QA Engineer. During their time there, they gained experience in various QA roles, including API testing, QA lead on the Linux port project, and QA lead for Professional Services on third-party tools development initiatives.

In 2004, Sean joined Microsoft as an Escalation Engineer, a role they held until July 2006. Afterwards, they joined Mirror Image Internet - Eluma as a Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, they managed the deployment and maintenance of builds and assisted with modifying the build scripts and processes.

In their early career, Sean worked at Nokia as a Senior QA Engineer from November 2009 to November 2010. Sean'smain responsibilities included automating the testing of REST and ATOM web services platforms using SoapUI and Java.

Overall, Sean Murphy has a diverse range of experience in quality assurance, including managerial roles and expertise in API testing and test automation.

Sean Murphy attended Bishop Fenwick High School from 1985 to 1989. Sean then pursued higher education at North Shore Community College from 1993 to 1996, earning an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. Subsequently, from 1995 to 1997, they studied at Salem State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
