Paul Kast IV has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in different companies.
Paul is currently the Head of Pilot Operations at Nature's Fynd starting from November 2022.
Before that, they worked at Novozymes from 2014 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. From September 2019 to November 2022, Paul served as the Regional Process Engineering Manager, responsible for leading and managing a team of Process Engineers dedicated to microbial production for bioagriculture, animal health and nutrition, and household care segments. Prior to this, they were a Lead Process Engineer from February 2018 to September 2019, and a Process Engineer I & II from September 2014 to February 2018, responsible for various production-related tasks within the recovery unit of an Industrial Biotech facility.
Paul also worked at CDI Corporation as a Process Engineer II from September 2013 to September 2014, where they focused on evaluating heat balances, designing compressor systems, and assessing cooling water systems at fuel oil and asphalt terminals.
From May 2012 to September 2013, Paul was a Process Engineer at Jacobs, where they led a relief device analysis effort for a client's site, involving sizing and documenting PRD calculations according to ASME and API standards.
Lastly, they worked as a Process Engineer at Aker Solutions from September 2011 to May 2012.

Paul Kast IV attended Notre Dame High School from 2002 to 2006. Paul then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering at West Virginia University, completing their education at this institution from 2006 to 2011.
