Andrew Hurst

Andrew Hurst is an experienced executive in the specialty chemicals and advanced materials industry, currently serving as Managing Director at William Blythe Ltd under Synthomer plc since May 2016. Prior to this role, Andrew held multiple leadership positions at Tracerco Ltd starting in January 2000 and at ICI from 1991 to 2000, including Gas Processing Managing Director and Precess Plant Services Managing Director. Andrew's career in manufacturing management began with roles at ICI Nylon Business and ICI Polyester. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Manufacture and Management from The University of Manchester, which was completed between 1981 and 1985.
