Sharnetta (Sharqi) L. Tyler David

Sharnetta (Sharqi) L. Tyler David has an extensive work experience that spans across multiple industries. Sharnetta (Sharqi) began their career in 2014 as the Dean of Students and Director of Recruitment at LION Charter School. In 2017, they took on the role of Educational Consultant at Codman Academy Charter Public School, where they coached teams of deans, instructional coaches, and teachers in implementing researched-based strategies to create positive school climate/culture. In 2019, they had multiple roles, including Co-Founder & CEO at CONNECT CoLab, Senior Human Resources Consultant at RealHR Solutions LLC, Talent & Development Consultant at reacHIRE, and Business Development Consultant at The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. In 2020, Sharnetta became the Director of Operations & Innovation at Roosevelt Square Professional Building. In 2021, they took on the role of Engagement, Wellness & Equity Manager at Innocence Project. Her current role is Head of Marketing Research & Engagement at TracFlo, a position they have held since 2022.

Sharnetta (Sharqi) L. Tyler David received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University in 2009, majoring in English Language and Literature and minoring in Sociology and Studio Art. Sharnetta (Sharqi) then attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. In 2013, they went to Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they earned a Master of Education in Art, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In addition, they have done study abroad coursework at St. Augustine University of Tanzania in Tanzanian Government & Civil Society and at University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in Beginners Kiswahili I.
