Daniel MacGillivray is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Team Lead at Trackunit since November 2021, Daniel previously held similar roles at ZTR from May 2018 to December 2021 and began their career as a Controls Designer at Athena Automation Ltd. from August 2013 to August 2017. Daniel’s expertise includes developing software for injection molding machinery and programming control software in C using the B&R real-time runtime environment. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering from McMaster University, obtained in 2013, and a High School Diploma from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, awarded in 2008.
