Rich Smith

Rich Smith is an experienced executive with a robust background in sales and operations within the manufacturing and packaging industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Traco Packaging since December 2008, Rich Smith has also held positions as National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager within the company. Prior to Traco Packaging, Rich Smith was Sales Manager at SimTek Fence from August 2005 to December 2008, where responsibilities included managing a sales team and significantly growing a start-up division to over $5 million in revenue within three years. Rich Smith began a professional career at MITY Inc. from June 1998 to July 2005 as a Regional Sales Representative, selling conference and banquet furniture to large national accounts across the Carolinas and Alabama, securing contracts with prominent venues such as the Charlotte Convention Center and major universities. Rich Smith holds a degree from Brigham Young University.
