Michael Edson

Michael Edson is a Software Application Engineer at RailComm since May 2017, specializing in the design and installation of dispatching software systems for railroad operations. Prior experience includes serving as a Toll Collector for the New York State Thruway Authority from January 2012 to May 2017, and a Systems Engineer Co-op at Harris Corporation, where Michael designed radio and communication systems for naval vessels. Michael's military background includes leadership roles in the New York Army National Guard and the United States Army, where responsibilities included communication and network planning, managing teams, and earning multiple military awards. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, completed in 2013, following education at Genesee Community College.
