Cheryl Stratton has held various positions in the medical and healthcare field since 2007. Cheryl began their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ladysmith Nursing Home. In 2009, they took on a Student Hourly Position at UW Hospital- Department of Surgery. The following year, they worked as a Microbiology Lab Tech at the same hospital, where they were involved in research and student guidance. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Rush University Medical Center, where they gained Blood Bank Senior Tech experience, experience verifying clinical results in Cerner, EPIC experience, experience handling patient samples, and experience as a project coordinator to revise training procedures. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Medical Technologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. During this time, they also held an Online Course Facilitator position at the University of Cincinnati. In 2019, they were a Cell Processing Coordinator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and in 2021 they became the Director of Manufacturing at TRACT Therapeutics, Inc.
Cheryl Stratton has a diverse educational background. Cheryl obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology, General from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Cheryl then went on to earn their Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Rush University in 2012. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications. In 2007, they obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant from Pearson VUE. In 2012, they obtained a Medical Laboratory Scientist from ASCP. Finally, in 2019, they obtained an AABB Cellular Therapies certificate from AABB.
