Othmane Sayem

Othmane Sayem is a Staff Applied Scientist at Tractable, with a focus on information retrieval using multimodal LLMs and advanced damage detection systems utilizing state-of-the-art computer vision models. Prior to this role, Othmane served as a Lead Deep Learning Scientist at Groupe Crédit Agricole, where projects included developing an in-house search engine for legal documents and automating email processing for bank agencies. Othmane also has experience as a data scientist at EDF, involving electricity consumption forecasting, and as an optimization intern at ENGIE, where research centered on robust optimization algorithms. Othmane's academic background includes a Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning from ENS Paris-Saclay, along with an Engineering degree in Applied Mathematics from ENSTA.
