Alex Purcaru

Alex Purcaru is a Structural Project Engineer with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. Currently with TRACTEBEL - ENGIE GROUP since July 2018, Alex plays a critical role in BIM process integration, modeling, and the adoption of BIM methodologies. Previous positions include Structural Engineer at Arcadia Engineering, where Alex contributed to significant projects such as the Business Garden Bucharest and IKEA Pallady Department Store, as well as UK Structural Engineer at Trylon and Project Manager at Alu Design Construction Civile. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Buildings Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universitatea Tehnică de Construcții București, along with expertise in various engineering software and project management.
