Arno Parlante

Arno Parlante has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Arno has worked at Tractebel since 2006, holding various roles such as I&C Lead Engineer, I&C Technical Director, Independent third-party reviewer, Senior Contract Owner (nuclear), Qualification Engineer, Team leader for commissioning (nuclear), Site Lead Manager for the E-I&C installation of an Emergency Diesel Generator (nuclear), and Senior Process Control Engineer (nuclear). Their responsibilities within these roles include improving nuclear power plant safety, drafting technical specifications, managing installations, and overseeing commissioning processes. Arno also has experience working as a Process Control Engineer (expatriate and non-nuclear) at Tractebel, handling projects related to power plant construction and renovation. Prior to their tenure at Tractebel, Arno worked as a Project Engineer at Medical Electronic Construction Research & Development, where they designed and engineered medical devices. Arno also served as an IT assistant and representative at the Université libre de Bruxelles.

Arno Parlante has a diverse education history. In 2019, they attended the SANS Technology Institute to study Cybersecurity of industrial systems. In 2015, they attended the TÜV SüD Akademie Symposium to learn about Emergency Power Systems at Nuclear Power Plants. In 2006, they completed a Mid-Level degree in Dutch at Tractebel Engineering School, and in 1999, they obtained an Engineer degree in Electricity/Electronics/IT from Université libre de Bruxelles. Additionally, they received a Mid-Level degree in English from English evening lessons in 1996. Arno completed their High Level degree in Sciences-Math from College Saint Augustin Enghien in 1999. Furthermore, they hold certifications such as the GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional from GIAC Certifications, obtained in 2020, and Certification BA4 from TRACTEBEL - ENGIE GROUP, obtained in 2006.
