Bart Vermeeren

Bart Vermeeren is an experienced nuclear professional currently serving as the Manager of Fuel Cycle Studies at TRACTEBEL since September 2012, where responsibilities include leading the cycle studies subgroup and overseeing fuel management strategy for Belgian nuclear power plants. Previously, Bart held the position of Core Design Engineer, focusing on refueling design and safety verification. Bart's early career included a role as a Nuclear Trainee at GDF SUEZ, completing technical and non-technical modules essential for nuclear management. Academic qualifications consist of a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from KU Leuven, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.
