Said Benayad

Said Benayad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nuclear engineering and radioprotection. Currently serving as an external consultant and senior design engineer at TRACTEBEL - ENGIE GROUP since August 2017, Said specializes in radioprotection, radioactive waste, and decommissioning. Concurrently, since 2006, Said has worked at ONDRAF/NIRAS, focusing on safety and physical control related to nuclear site cleanup programs and conducting nuclear safety studies. Previous roles include patent rights observation at CEMEX and teaching physics and mathematics at Institut Diderot in Brussels. Said holds a Master's degree in Environment Management from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from the same institution, along with specialized training in radioprotection.
