Eoin O'Brien

Eoin O'Brien has five years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Talamh Innovations, where they led the development of several MEAN stack applications, architected and deployed cloud solutions on AWS, and interfaced with clients to elicit project requirements and feedback. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Tracworx, where they worked to make returnable packaging easier than single-use packaging. In 2021, they joined Immersive Software Engineering as a member of the Young Advisory Board. In 2022, they began working as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Limerick, and from 2016 to 2021 they were also a Teaching Assistant at the University of Limerick, where they taught drop-in sessions on C/C++, Java, Android, SQL and web development, led Peer-Supported Learning Group (PSLG) sessions, and acted as a TA for Prepare and Repeat (PAR) sessions.

Eoin O'Brien has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Leaving Certificate in English, Irish, French, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Mathematics from Ardscoil Rís in 2015. Additionally, they hold Professional Scrum Developer (PSD I) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certifications from Scrum.org, which they obtained in November 2019 and May 2019 respectively.
