Madiha Ali has extensive work experience in various roles within the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Madiha started at TDAP in 2011 as an Assistant Director, where they handled tasks such as WTO matters, market conditions related to WTO obligations, trade flows, and international trade issues. Additionally, they were involved in coordinating and organizing events, resolving issues for stakeholders, and providing input to the Ministry of Commerce on trade policy formation. In 2016, they became the Deputy Director-Admin at TDAP. Later, in 2018, they were promoted to roles such as Deputy Director, Deputy Director Policy Initiatives, Director, and ultimately Director of the Textile and Leather Division. Prior to joining TDAP, Madiha Ali worked briefly at the Pakistan Institute of Trade & Development (PITAD) as an Assistant Director and at the Civil Service Academy as a Probation Officer.
Madiha Ali completed their education as follows:
- From 2014 to 2016, they attended Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt, where they earned a Master's Degree in Public Policy.
- Between 2002 and 2006, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Management Science at the Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan.
- Madiha attended Lahore College for Women University from 2000 to 2002, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Economics.
- From 1995 to 2000, they attended Beaconhouse School System and obtained their O'levels with a specialization in science.
In addition to their formal education, they obtained a German Language Certificate B1 from Carl Duisberg Centren in May 2014.
