Lourens Kloppers

Lourens Kloppers is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Trade Me since November 2018, Lourens focuses on transitioning data from on-premise warehouses to cloud solutions, while previously holding the role of Senior Business Intelligence Developer where responsibilities included the development and maintenance of both on-premise and cloud data warehouses using the Microsoft BI stack. Prior to Trade Me, Lourens managed the IT department as Business Information Systems Manager at GST AutoLeather, Inc. and developed efficient data extraction processes as an Oracle Data Analyst and PL/SQL Developer at LGR Telecommunications. With a strong foundation in software development and systems analysis established during tenures at GST AutoLeather and Softy Comp, Lourens holds a National Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering.
