Ian O'Flaherty

Ian is a vastly experienced financial market professional with a career spanning 38 years across Trading, eSales and Financial Technology. He spent 35 years at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets division, as Global Head of Spot FX, Global Head of eCommerce, Global Head of eSales and Head of Institutional Sales Technology. He was at the forefront of the evolution of the FX market from being a predominantly voice-based marketplace to what is now a mature electronic market. He was a key architect behind AutobahnFX, the multi-award winning trading platform that for many years set the standard for electronic FX trading. Most recently he was Head of Digital Solutions at Westpac Institutional Bank based in London.
