David Turner

David Turner has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David recently joined TradeKart as the Finance Director, where they are involved in advising on various finance areas for the tech start-up. Prior to this, they held progressive roles at Akzo Nobel, starting as the Chief Accountant in 2006 and eventually becoming the Finance Director for Decorative Paints in the UK & Ireland. David also gained experience as the Controller for the Legacy Asset Management business unit and served as the Finance Director for North America. Before Akzo Nobel, David worked as a Management Accountant at Edison Mission Energy and as a Group Accountant at Chelsea Football Club.

David Turner attended The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a BSc (hons) degree in Mathematics. Prior to that, they attended Poole Grammar School. David also pursued further studies in Mathematics at The University of Manchester. David has additional certifications including Chartered Management Accountant: CGMA from CIMA and Insurance Director from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
