Karla Soriano

Karla Soriano has extensive experience in engineering and environmental management, currently serving as Office Coordinator and Scale Operator at Trademark Metals Recycling since August 2016, where responsibilities include clerical duties and supervising administrative staff. Previously, Karla held the position of Project Engineer III at YV Ingenieria y Construccion from April 2005 to July 2014, overseeing department activities, subcontractor interactions, and the implementation of environmental management systems. Earlier roles include Project Engineer at Grupo HOBA, where Karla focused on water treatment equipment proposals and installations, and Process Engineer at AmbioConsult C.A., participating in the startup of wastewater treatment plants and environmental assessments. Additionally, Karla worked as a Chemical Engineer at LABTA, assessing air pollutants, and served as an assistant professor at Universidad de Carabobo in 1994. Karla holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de Carabobo and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar.
