Pukar Koirala

Pukar Koirala has extensive experience in database administration and development. Pukar has worked at Trader Interactive since 2017, starting as a Senior Database Administrator and later becoming a Technical Lead. In these roles, they administered multiple databases like MongoDB, MariaDB, Solr, and RDS (Postgres, Mysql), among others. Pukar also installed, upgraded, and configured database software, created database objects, and implemented backup and recovery strategies.

Prior to Trader Interactive, Pukar worked at Dominion Enterprises as a Senior Database Programmer and Database Administrator II. In these roles, they installed, upgraded, and administered Oracle instances, developed and maintained extraction processes, and ensured backup and recovery policies were in place. Pukar also created procedures, functions, packages, and views using PL/SQL.

Before that, Pukar worked at the Federal Trade Commission as a Database Developer/Analyst. In this role, they gathered requirements, designed, developed, and implemented systems. Pukar also worked on PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and triggers.

Pukar Koirala began their education in 2003 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Pukar attended this institution until 2004. Following this, they enrolled at Bellevue University in 2004 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology in 2006.
