Troy Bilbrey has extensive work experience spanning several industries. Troy started their career in 1985 in the United States Air Force, working as a C-130E Crew Chief and later as a T-37B Crew Chief. In these roles, they performed various maintenance tasks and inspections on aircraft.

In 1990, Bilbrey worked as a Sanitation Worker at Fast Food Merchandisers, where they were responsible for cleaning meat production equipment and operating fork trucks.

From 1991 to 2008, Bilbrey worked at Dana Corporation as a Functional Analyst II. Troy specialized in working with Mobile RF Data Collection devices and integrated them into the JD Edwards OneWorld MRP system.
