Maurena Downs

Maurena Simone has extensive work experience in the accounting field. Maurena began their career as a Senior Accountant at Davie Kaplan, CPA, P.C. in October 2004 and worked there until August 2007. Maurena then joined TelePacific Communications (TPx Communications) in August 2007 as an Accounting Manager and held the position until November 2011.

In November 2011, Maurena joined Trader Joe's as an Accounting Manager and was promoted to Director of Accounting in January 2015. Maurena then advanced to the position of Assistant Controller in January 2017. Currently, they serve as the VP, Controller at Trader Joe's starting from September 2021. Throughout their career, Maurena has showcased their expertise and dedication in various accounting roles, demonstrating their commitment to the field.

Maurena Simone obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nazareth University, completing their education from 2000 to 2004.
