Alisha Purdy has a diverse work experience in the media and advertising industry. Alisha is currently working as the Director of Branded Content + Social at AutoTrader.ca since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Media Consultant from September 2021 to March 2022. Alisha also worked at The Story Lab as a Senior Director of Content from January 2015 to December 2020. Alisha held the role of Group Manager of Broadcast Activation at Carat Canada from October 2002 to December 2014. Alisha began their career as a Media Buyer at OMD Canada from March 2001 to October 2002. Alisha started in the industry as a Media Planner/Buyer at Cormark MacPhee Communication Solutions Inc. from December 1998 to March 2001.
Alisha Purdy attended Mohawk College from 1996 to 1998, where they studied advertising. Alisha did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their college education, they have obtained several certifications. In June 2020, Alisha completed the Safe Sets™ COVID-19 Level A Program offered by Safe Sets International. Alisha also completed the Content Strategy Brand Partner Program offered by YouTube in December 2016, as well as the Brands as Partners program also offered by YouTube in April 2016.
