Elisabeth Huijskens has a diverse work experience. From 2010 to 2016, they were the Founder, Chief Creative Officer, VP of Communications/PR, Creative Director, and Graphic Designer + Social Media Manager for Trades of Hope, an international fair trade company and ethical fashion brand. In 2016, they became a Yoga Instructor for The Balance Culture. In 2019, they joined the U.S. Department of State as a Public Diplomacy Intern, where they created a new UK Media Guide and accompanying presentation, created daily products to brief the press office and embassy on UK and world news, and collaborated with the office on communication strategies, campaigns, and events.

Elisabeth Huijskens completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Journalism/PR from Southeastern University between 2013 and 2015. Elisabeth then obtained a Social Selling Certification from Hootsuite in June 2017 and a Certified Group Fitness Instructor from Athletics and Fitness Association of America - AFAA in November 2015. In 2017, they began their Master of Arts - MA in Strategic Public Relations in Advocacy and Social Change from American University and completed it in 2020.
