Jose Martínez

Jose Martínez has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jose is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer III at TradeStation since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Logic Studio as a Web Programmer from 2014 to 2021.

Before Logic Studio, Jose worked at Search Technologies as a Technical Consultant/Developer from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they were part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining a large 3-tier web application. Jose had responsibilities in both front-end and back-end development and was also involved in developing a new REST version of the application using tools such as Microsoft Web API and SQL Server.

In 2011, Jose worked at Mavizon Technologies as a Software Developer, where they developed web applications using Microsoft's MVC, WCF, MySQL, and Entity Framework. Prior to that, they worked at SlimSoft Solutions Inc. as a System Analyst and Designer, where they developed solutions for data analysis in mill factories and created web services to share information about products between servers.

Jose's early experience includes working at DGS as a System Support specialist, where they provided support for the company's software and worked with SQL queries. Jose also worked at E-Bos as a Solutions Developer.

Throughout their career, Jose has gained expertise in various technologies such as web development frameworks, databases, and system support.

Jose Martínez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Jose further pursued their education in the field of Web Development and obtained a Licentiate degree from Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica between 2010 and 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Jose Martínez has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they acquired the certification in Gamification from Coursera and Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Prometric. In 2017, they earned the certifications SFPC and SMPC from CertiProf. Furthermore, in 2020, they completed the Data Science Specialization from Coursera.

Their most recent certifications include SAFe 5 Scrum Master and SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, obtained in April 2023 and November 2022 respectively. These certifications were provided by Scaled Agile, Inc.
