Manager Enterprise Infrastructure at TradeStation

Maikel Ramirez has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and system administration. Maikel started their career at Hewlett-Packard as a Deskside Support specialist from March 2008 to February 2010. From there, they moved on to The Coca-Cola Company, where they served as a Processing and Server Administrator from March 2010 to September 2013. During this time, they gained expertise in Windows Server administration, virtual infrastructure management, storage administration, and project coordination.

In 2014, Maikel joined TradeStation as a Systems Administrator, responsible for managing Windows and Linux servers, virtual infrastructure, and storage devices. Maikel also provided support for custom applications and infrastructure within the company. After four years in this role, they transitioned to the position of System Engineer, focusing on infrastructure projects, infrastructure level III support, and managing various technologies such as Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu servers, Cisco ACE Load Balancer, Active Directory, AWS, and VMware.

Currently, Maikel holds the position of Manager Enterprise Infrastructure at TradeStation, where they oversee the company's infrastructure operations.

Throughout their career, Maikel has demonstrated a strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and ability to implement and support complex IT systems.

Maikel Ramirez completed their education at the Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Systems Engineering. In 2011, they attended Adistec and obtained a degree in Vmware VCP. Besides their formal education, Maikel also holds additional certifications including Extreme Ownership Muster 016 from Echelon Front, obtained in April 2023, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon, obtained in December 2021. Maikel also obtained a VCP certification from VMware in December 2010.
