Miodrag (Mickey) Zarev has extensive work experience in the software development field. Miodrag (Mickey) is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Trading Apps since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Access IS as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for developing a Java Wrapper DLL and a Java Swing Frontend application. Miodrag (Mickey) also developed a Cryptography C# WPF application.
Before Access IS, Mickey worked at Deutsche Bank as a Senior Counterparty Credit Risk Developer from October 2018 to September 2019. Miodrag (Mickey) was responsible for developing the Counterparty Credit Risk Netting and Aggregation service on the Risk Finder platform. Miodrag (Mickey) used agile methodologies and various testing tools for this project.
From 2015 to 2018, Mickey worked at Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Market Risk Developer. Prior to that, they worked at Barclays Investment Bank as a Credit Risk Developer from 2012 to 2015. Miodrag (Mickey) also worked at Nomura International as a Senior FX Options Risk Developer from 2011 to 2012, where they were responsible for developing a system for generating risk reports.
Mickey's earlier experience includes roles at Deutsche Bank as an ETS Developer from 2010 to 2011, UBS as a Credit Risk Developer from 2009 to 2010, Nomura International as an Equity Technology Developer from 2007 to 2008, and BNP Paribas as a Senior Software Engineer from 2001 to 2007.
Miodrag (Mickey) Zarev pursued higher education from 1994 to 1996 at the University of Greenwich. During this period, they completed their MSc in Scientific and Engineering Software Technology with a specialization in Software Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, in December 2019, Mickey obtained a certification in C++ from TestDome.
