Carlos Sotolongo has a strong background in software development and has held various roles throughout their career. Carlos started working as a Software Developer at Cubanacan S.A in 1997, where they focused on developing line-of-business applications for the hotel management division. Carlos also developed an interface to capture key performance indicators and transmit them to the company's headquarters.
From 2000 to 2011, Carlos worked at McCain Foods Canada, where they held roles such as Intermediate Programmer/Analyst, Senior Programmer/Analyst, and System Analyst I. Carlos provided technical leadership and coaching to junior development resources, participated in the development of the company's first internet-facing portals and intranet applications, and played a key role in the migration from classic ASP to ASP.NET.
In 2012, Carlos joined ABM Integrated Solutions as a Senior Consultant, where they provided SharePoint planning, implementation, migration, and custom development consulting services. Carlos also offered ASP.NET application design and development services.
From 2013 to 2017, Carlos worked at StoneShare Inc. as a Senior SharePoint Developer. Carlos was involved in several large Enterprise Document and Record Management System implementations and collaborated with Gimmal LLC on the design and development of their Physical Information Management product.
In 2017, Carlos joined Recognia Inc. and TRADING CENTRAL as a Full Stack Developer, where they continue to contribute their expertise and skills in software development.
Carlos Sotolongo completed their high school education at Eduardo Garcia Delgado from 1989 to 1992. Carlos obtained several certifications including "C# Design Patterns: Part 1" from LinkedIn in October 2018, "Microsoft SharePoint 2010 MCPD" from Microsoft in November 2012, and "Microsoft SharePoint 2010 MCTS" from Microsoft in June 2012.
