Dean Dunakin

Dean Dunakin is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in creative design and UI/UX. Currently serving as the Director of Creative Design at Trading Technologies since February 2019, Dean has played a pivotal role in securing high-profile clients by collaborating with executive and sales teams on visual and layout strategies. Notable achievements include the enhancement of design efficiency through the development of new workflows in Jira and the establishment of accessible branding portals using Frontify and Confluence. Prior to this role, Dean held positions at Sears Holdings Corporation as a Senior Designer, where project workflows and UI enhancements were streamlined across various platforms, and at Mediaspan, contributing to the modernization of web design and CMS frameworks. Dean began a career in design at Blick Art Materials, focusing on digital graphics and marketing materials. Dean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from Lawrence University and has also participated in the ACM Chicago Arts Program.
