Alexander T. Nguyen M.D., Mph, Qme

Alexander T. Nguyen, MD, MPH, QME, serves as a Qualified Medical Evaluator at California Medical Evaluators and holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UC Riverside School of Medicine. As Section Chief of Geropsychiatry for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexander contributes to specialized psychiatric care for older adults. Additional roles include being an Inpatient Attending at La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center with Traditions Behavioral Health and having previously served on the Board of Directors for CalOptima, the largest health insurer in Orange County. Alexander's training includes residency in Psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, along with leadership experience as Regional Vice President for the Committee of Interns and Residents/SEIU Healthcare. Academic qualifications include an MD from the University of California, Davis, an MPH in Global Health Leadership from the University of Southern California, and a strong foundation in Biological Sciences, Political Science, and Gender Studies from the same institution.
