Ebony R.

Ebony R. has an extensive work experience history in various roles within the social work and healthcare field. Their most recent position was as a Medical Social Worker at Traditions Health, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Social Worker/Volunteer Coordinator at Three Oaks Hospice from September 2022 to May 2023.

Before that, Ebony served as the Social Services Director at Lake Marion Health and Rehab and Center from October 2021 to September 2022. They also worked as a Medical Social Worker for a hospice organization from February 2021 to July 2021.

Additionally, Ebony gained experience at Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands as a Care Specialist and Sexual Assault Services Coordinator from June 2018 to February 2021. They also served as a Social Work Intern at Clarendon School District 2 from August 2019 to October 2019.

Prior to pursuing a career in social work, Ebony held positions in other fields such as BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina as a CSA I from March 2017 to June 2018. They also worked as a Line Therapist at Early Autism Project, Inc. from August 2016 to April 2017. Ebony's earlier work experience includes roles as an Early Head Start Family Service Worker at Wateree Community Actions Inc from November 2015 to June 2016, and as a Social Work Intern at Hospice of the Palmetto State from October 2013 to May 2014.

Ebony R. obtained a High School Diploma with honors from Sumter High School in the years 2006-2009. Following their high school education, they attended Coker University from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW). Ebony then pursued further education at Campbellsville University, where they completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree up until 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Ebony R. obtained several certifications. In June 2018, they earned the Victim Service Provider- Basic VSP certification from the Office of Victim Services Education & Certification. In June 2020, they obtained the Certified Trauma Professional certification from PESI. Most recently, in December 2020, they became a Licensed Master Social Worker through the ASWB (Association of Social Work Boards).
