Florian Wächter

Florian Wächter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Florian'smost recent position is as the Head of Quality at Trafag AG since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Hitachi Energy as the Global Design to Value Manager for Semiconductors from July 2021 to May 2022, and as the Head of Product Engineering and Material Quality Bimos Backend from July 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Hitachi Energy, Florian worked at ABB, where they held multiple roles including Head of Product Engineering and Material Quality Bimos BE from July 2018 to June 2020, Supplier Quality Manager from June 2016 to June 2018, Senior Process Engineer in April 2016, and Process Engineer from August 2013 to May 2016. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as soldering of semiconductor devices, optical and ultrasonic inspection, plasma cleaning, automation, and operational management.

Florian's earlier experience includes working at ETH Zürich as a Postdoctoral Fellow from January 2013 to July 2013, and as a PhD Student from May 2009 to December 2012. During their time at ETH Zürich, their research focused on the synthesis and characterization of cathode materials for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

Furthermore, Florian worked as the CEO at Chem-Aide GmbH from October 2010 to July 2013, where they played a key role in the conception and initiation of a large-scale plant for industrial cleaning. Florian'sresponsibilities included project acquisition, customer contact, development of customized pilot plants, and accounting.

Florian Wächter has a strong educational background in chemistry. Florian obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Inorganic Chemistry from ETH Zürich from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Chemie at The University of Bonn, studying from 2004 to 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Florian Wächter has also earned a certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Steinbeis-Hochschule-Berlin in January 2018.
