TRAFFIC
Anastasiya Timoshyna is the Director of the European Programme Office at TRAFFIC since September 2007, where responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of TRAFFIC’s strategy in Europe and engaging with various stakeholders on wildlife trade issues. Previously, Timoshyna held key positions such as Director of Strategy, Programme and Impact, and Senior Programme Co-ordinator for Sustainable Trade, focusing on strengthening TRAFFIC's initiatives related to legal wildlife trade and managing the global Medicinal and Aromatic plants trade programme. In addition to current roles, Timoshyna serves as a Board Member of the FairWild Foundation, contributing to sustainable management practices for wild-collected natural ingredients. Timoshyna's academic background includes a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University and multiple master's degrees in related fields from various prestigious institutions.
