Annie Cooper

Annie Cooper is an experienced project development manager with a strong background in conservation policy and funding acquisition. Currently serving at TRAFFIC since October 2019, Annie designs projects and crafts compelling proposals, focusing on government and foundation funding sources. Previous roles include strategic support for ZSL's Asia Conservation programmes, proposal development for the Tropical Biology Association, and successful coordination of numerous funding proposals for Fauna & Flora International. Annie's diverse experience encompasses editing and managing content for the Global Canopy Programme, conducting research for BirdLife International and UNEP-WCMC, and engaging with community support initiatives in Brazil. Annie holds a Master's degree in Environment and Development from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Economy from The University of Edinburgh.
