Kiel Ova

Kiel Ova began their work experience in 2000 as an Associate Research Fellow at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Associate at Innovative Transportation Concepts, Inc. Following that, they joined PTV Group Americas and held various roles including Project Manager, Principal, and Vice President Business Development from 2004 to 2014. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Senior Transportation Engineer at RS&H before joining Traffic Technology Services Inc. in 2015. At Traffic Technology Services Inc., Kiel worked as the Chief Marketing Officer until 2019, and then assumed the role of Head of Government Affairs & Partnerships. Throughout their career, Kiel has focused on market development, B2B relationships, sales, and supplier relationships in the transportation industry.

Kiel Ova holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University, which was obtained between the years 1993 and 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Option at the same institution, completing it from 1998 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Kiel Ova obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Oregon's Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying in April 2005. They also obtained the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certification from the Transportation Professional Certification Board Inc., affiliated with ITE, in January 2006.
