Katie Varela

Katie Varela is an experienced proofreader and editor with a robust background in the advertising and graphic design industries. Currently serving as a Proofreader at TRAFFIK, a global advertising agency since January 2021, Katie also works as a freelance Proofreader and Editor, specializing in academic writing for graduate students from institutions such as Azusa Pacific University, Cal Poly Pomona, and USC since September 2001. Previous experience includes a role as a Copy Editor at VDS LA from February 2008 to December 2019, where responsibilities involved proofreading and editing print and electronic materials for various clients and coordinating large projects for a graphic design and marketing studio.
