Julie Milner

Julie Milner has over 17 years of experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Teaching, Learning and Innovation Practitioner and Lecturer in ESOL & Maths at Trafford College since August 2006. Milner manages adult ESOL and Maths programs, including Functional Skills and GCSE, with a specific interest in teaching Maths to ESOL learners and delivering Continuous Professional Development (CPD) on Blended Learning. Previous roles include Team Leader at Suman, where Milner led CPD initiatives for Chinese teachers, and Trainer of CPD at Tianjin Service Centre for International Language Exchange. Milner also has experience as a Writing Examiner for Cambridge Assessment English, and held lecturing and tutoring positions at The Manchester College and City College Manchester. Milner holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lancaster University and a PGCE with Level 4 Subject Specialism in Adult ESOL from The University of Bolton.
