Sean Anstee

Sean is an experienced strategist and advisor with an extensive background in regional and local government, having held senior positions at a local authority, regional combined authority, and the Local Government Association.

Previously Leader of Trafford Council for four years and as a senior member of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Sean has advised on and overseen, the successful delivery of several major infrastructure and development projects. He provides advice on all aspects of regional and local government, with specialisms in infrastructure, housing, education, and finance.

Sean is a co-opted governor of Manchester Metropolitan University and serves as a Non-Executive Director of London & Quadrant and the National Housing Federation. He is Executive Director of Municipal Partners and Senior Advisor at C|T Local, part of the C|T Group.

Sean graduated with First Class Honours in Business Management in July 2013 from Manchester Metropolitan University and was awarded a CBE for services to Local Government in the 2019 New Year’s Honours. He joined the Board of Trafford Housing Trust in April 2014, and was appointed Chairman in September 2020.
