Tomas Smagurauskas

Tomas Smagurauskas has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tomas is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Trafi since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer at Vilniaus universitetas/Vilnius University starting from September 2018. In addition, Tomas has also served as a Mentor at Women Go Tech from March 2023 onwards. Before their current roles, they were the Co-Founder CTO at benme from January 2021 to March 2023. Earlier in their career, Tomas worked as a Software Engineer at Unify Square from March 2020 to March 2021, as well as at Metasite from June 2018 to March 2020. Tomas also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Invovatyvios medicinos centras from August 2017 to August 2019. Tomas's work history also includes a position as a Software Engineering Team Lead at VUL Santariškių klinikos where they managed a Scrum development team and worked on internal systems and integrations using .NET web technologies and Angular from November 2014 to June 2018. Prior to that, they had short-term roles as a Software Engineer at Ruptela, UAB and UAB NetCode.

Tomas Smagurauskas earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Vilnius University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Tomas further pursued their education at Vilnius University and obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tomas also has several certifications. In August 2016, they became a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certified by Scrum.org. Later, in August 2018, Tomas obtained the MCSA: Web Applications and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: App Builder certifications from Microsoft.
