Richard Miao

Richard Miao is a seasoned professional in trading and market analysis, currently serving as a Metals Derivatives Trader at Trafigura since April 2020. Prior to this role, Richard held a position in Global Macro Trading at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH from March 2014 to March 2020, focusing on macro analysis with an emphasis on the Chinese market and trading in base metals, precious metals, and crude oil. Richard's career began as a Market Research Analyst at Allianz Real Estate for a brief period in late 2013, where market research for Germany and key European cities was conducted. Richard holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from St.Gallen University and an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Additionally, Richard earned a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from China Foreign Affairs University and participated in an exchange program in Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
