Andreas Wik

Andreas Wik serves as the Head of Technology ERTMS at Trafikverket since June 2018, overseeing critical advancements in the European Rail Traffic Management System. Prior to this role, Andreas held various leadership positions at Bombardier Transportation from October 2001 to May 2018, including Head of System and Advance Engineering and Head of Engineering for deliveries to Trafikverket, where responsibilities included managing large engineering teams and ensuring high-quality project delivery. Earlier career experiences include impactful roles at Adtranz and ABB, where Andreas contributed to significant ERTMS projects and gained expertise in software development for interlocking systems. Andreas holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
