Rachel Hunsell is an experienced professional in outdoor engagement and marketing, currently serving as the Program Manager for Outdoor Engagement at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors since February 2017, where responsibilities include providing peer-based emotional support and developing outdoor programming for families grieving military losses. In addition, Rachel has been a Board Member for the LCpl. J. Kyle Price Memorial Foundation since April 2006. Previous experience includes working as a Marketing Executive for the Mt. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Southeast Missouri State University.

Founded out of tragedy in 1994, TAPS has grown and established itself as the front line resource to families and loved ones of our military men and women. TAPS has provided comfort and care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through comprehensive services and programs including peer based emotional support, case work assistance, crisis intervention, and grief and trauma resources. TAPS provides ongoing emotional help, hope, and healing to all who are grieving the death of a loved one in military service to America, regardless of relationship to the deceased, geography, or circumstance of the death.
