Sony Gabriel has over 25 years of experience in the software industry. Sony began their career in 1995 as a Junior Research Fellow at ER&DC. In 1998, they worked as a Software Engineer at Applisoft Inc and CFS LeaseTek. From 1998 to 2000, they were a Senior Technical Consultant at MetraTech Corporation. From 2000 to 2003, they were an Independent Consultant, and from 2003 to 2006, they were a Project Manager at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Independent Management Consultant, and from 2010 to 2016, they were the Co-founder and CEO of Menerva Software. Since 2021, they have been the Co-founder and CEO of TRaiCE Inc.
Sony Gabriel has a diverse educational background. Sony completed their ICSE and ISC from St. John's School between 1978 and 1990. Sony then earned a B Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Kerala between 1991 and 1995. In 2008 and 2009, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and obtained an EGMP in General Management. Finally, Gabriel obtained additional certifications, such as the Seed Spark Program from Stanford Seed in January 2022, the Newchip Accelerator from Newchip Accelerator in April 2021, and the PMP from PMI in November 2003.
